How to copy trade on fomo.family, step by step

Copying a fomo.family trader takes a few minutes. This guide walks through it on FOCO, from signing in to your first copied trade, and the settings worth a second look before real money goes in.

1. Sign in

Sign in with a Solana or EVM wallet (Phantom, MetaMask and the like) or with Telegram. Your account comes with trading wallets of its own, one on Solana and one for the other chains, and $1,000 of paper money to practise with.

2. Pick a trader

Open Traders and sort the leaderboard by the last day, week or month, or search a handle you already follow on fomo.family. A trader’s page shows their recent trades, so you can see how often they trade, how big and how they exit, before you copy them.

3. Set the size of each copy

Choose the dollars per buy (from $10; Ethereum needs more because of gas). FOCO shows your size next to theirs and what their pace of trading would cost you a day, so a busy trader doesn’t surprise you.

4. Choose which buys to copy

Market cap from / up to: skip coins too small or too big for your taste.
Coin younger than: copy only fresh launches, or avoid them.
Their buy at least: ignore the trader’s tiny test buys.
Liquidity at least: skip coins too thin to sell.

5. Decide how it sells

Start from Take profits, Let it run or Follow their sells, or set your own take-profit points, stop loss and trailing stop. Decide what their sells do to your copy: sell carefully as they start selling, mirror the share they sell, sell everything at once, or ignore them and let only your rules sell.

6. Watch it on paper, then go live

Paper copies use real prices, so a few days on paper show how your rules behave. When you’re ready, add USDC, switch to live in settings and connect Telegram if you want a message on every buy and sell. You can withdraw any time; each withdrawal is confirmed in Telegram or with your wallet first.
